I have been meaning to write to you for some time regarding one of your staff, Sabrina.

There are few times when one runs across a person working in the
sales/service arena who really does shine. As previously being a
General Manager of a blue-chip British energy company and Consultant
Advisor to one the world's largest petroleum companies over the last
20 years, I can honestly say that you have a rare gem on your staff in
Sabrina.

She brings to her role a first rate equipment knowledge, an air of
professionalism not always seen in Singapore IT sales staff and a
demeanour that gives confidence to the buyer. She is quite frankly
the best customer service oriented IT person I have met in my time in
the computer sales rooms of Singapore. She handled both my daughter
and my own IT needs perfectly and she will be the first person I will
contact for my future IT needs. As someone who has been around
Singapore since 1974 and a PR for the last 6 years, I feel I can
comment with some air of authority.

You are lucky to have Sabrina on your staff. If I were in the
business of recruiting IT staff, I would certainly try and find a way
of taking her away from you! Fortunately for you, I'm not.

Dear Leslie,

Hope this email finds you well and relaxing after the weekend.

Last week, I went to your shop to purchase a router for my broadband.Was served by Andi Ong.Helpful and patient with my non stop questioning, sales closed and I took purchase home. Last Saturday, StarHub guy came to fix up my broadband. Opened up box of router and it was empty! Sms you and Andi called back to apologizes for giving me the display box instead of a new one. Obviously I was not happy and asked him to send me a new one with the content inside. Am sure he did not do it on purpose. He cameto my place at Admiralty area last night with new box and router. Asked if he can help me to fix it up. I know that this is not his job but without any doubt, he replied with a smile - sure! I have to admire his patience and earnest attitude. Somehow it took a long while (7.30pm - 11pm) to try and figure out why setting unable to work despite him following instruction and password stated in the Netscape system! Andi was helping me to set up password so that others on wireless will not be able to tap onto my broadband. It was indeed a frustrating task but Andi showed lots of tact and patience of an angel! I felt so bad that he had to help a IT blur like me and he really went the extra extra mile to do it on an empty stomach after work! Till date, router can be use but password to secure wireless is still not figure out yet. Andi kept on apologizing and he made several efforts to contact his co-workers and also the help desk to get assistance on my behalf.

This is really a gem of a staff you have there, Leslie. As we are all in the service industry, I feel that when credit is due, we have to appreciate and give credit for. I sincerely take my hat off him, Mr. Andi Ong for being so patience, helpful and kind.

Mr Ong proves me wrong that there are indeed good sales staff in the local retail industry. Many a times we encounter bad service and we just walk out and tell our friends about the lousy experience from that particular shop. My co-worker asked me why I never shop around for prices and my reply to her was that I am happy and comfortable with your service. I am glad that I did not go elsewhere as time and again, Mc2 never fails to deliver in many ways.

To have staff like Mr Andi Ong is truly a great asset to any organization. Kudos to him and your company.
